High-ranking visit to Eberswalde Zoo

On Thursday, 28 August 2025, the city of Eberswalde welcomed the Deputy Minister President of the State of Brandenburg and Minister of Finance and Europe, Mr Robert Crumbach, for a tour of Eberswalde Zoo.

During his visit, the minister learnt about the wide range of activities on offer, such as the tree adventure trail, the new Madagascar house and the planned indoor playground facility "Children's University - on the trail of nature". He particularly recognised the zoo's commitment to environmental education and species conservation - including the adoption of animals in a private capacity.
