On Sunday, 19 April 2026the main election for the District Administrator of the Barnim district will take place. If no candidate achieves the required majority, the election will take place on Sunday, 10 May 2026the run-off election was held.
To ensure the proper organisation of the elections, the city of Eberswalde is looking for election assistants who would like to volunteer in one of the 37 election committees of a polling station in Eberswalde.

The prerequisite for appointment to an election committee is that you are authorised to participate in the election. No special prior knowledge is required. The members of the electoral boards receive a refreshment allowance for their work on election Sunday. This amounts to 60.00 euros per election committee member and 45.00 euros for all other election committee members.
