Eberswalde Welcome Centre
Advice service for people with a migration background & Welcome Centre
The town of Eberswalde offers a free advisory service for people with a migration background – regardless of their origin or residence status – who have questions or need guidance and personalised support. The focus here is particularly on support with integration into the labour market (including support for women), but also on other areas such as education, family, social participation, health and housing.
There are plans to set up a local Welcome Centre, which will also aim to build a strong network to establish a structured culture of welcome in Eberswalde. This will also involve forging links with local businesses to facilitate access for international skilled workers and people with a migration background.
The ‘Welcome Centre Eberswalde’ project is funded under the ‘Welcome to Brandenburg’ scheme, with funding from the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Social Cohesion of the State of Brandenburg (MASGZ) and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
