MuT_Woche Eberswalde - a week of cultural education from 23 - 30 June 2026
You need courage to step onto a stage, to sing or dance, to shape an animal out of clay or to paint a really big graffiti, to recite a poem at a poetry slam or to deal with your story, to think up a computer game and to put on a performance or a play.
You have the courage, so sign up now for one of the free MuT_Woche workshops from 23 - 30 June 2026.
We could go on at length about how engaging with the aesthetic arts and cultural education, including theatre/performing arts, dance, visual arts, music, literature, museums, film and photography, allows you to experience self-efficacy and boosts your creativity. That this is part of general education and important for the understanding of democracy and the development of social and emotional competence in children and young people. Or you can simply come to a workshop and realise how muchFunit is. And that's the most important thing! Be brave!

All workshops can only be attended after prior registration. Unless otherwise stated, the events are open to the public and can be attended without registration.

Young people and children up to the age of 13 need written consent to participate in the workshops without their parents. Please print out the "parental consent" form and bring it with you to the workshop.
Zippel dance parlour
Various dance workshops on the topics of show dance, self-determination and self-confidence for different age groups.
Children's dance - bravely exploring the world
For our youngest explorers, the dance hall becomes a huge adventure playground! We playfully explore the world with music and movement and dare to be big or tiny. In this workshop, the children strengthen their motor skills and bravely discover what their own bodies can already do. This is a great experience, especially for kindergarten groups, to take their first dance steps together and let their imaginations flow. We jump, spin and laugh our way through the morning. A safe place for little adventurers to surpass themselves!

"This is me" - My body is my home
You are just right the way you are - and that's exactly what we celebrate in this workshop!
Using contemporary dance methods, we will explore how your body feels and what stories it can tell. No matter what you look like, your body is your safe home where you can feel comfortable. We create a space without judgement in which you can move freely and strengthen your self-confidence. Discover your uniqueness and learn to find your own personal expression in dance. You are valuable, strong and absolutely okay!

Showdance - Dancing like the stars
Do you dream of being in the limelight like the professionals? In this workshop you will learn cool choreographies to your favourite hits and discover the star in you. We'll work together on your charisma and show you how much power your movements have. Dare to take to the dance floor and experience how much fun it is to develop a rousing show together. What counts here is not perfection, but your joy of movement and your courage to try out new things.

Dance theatre "NO"
Can I actually say "no" when something doesn't suit me? In this dance theatre project, we take an artistic look at our personal boundaries. We use movement to explore how to show strength and stay true to yourself, even when things get difficult. Together we will find answers to the question: How valuable am I? Dance becomes a tool for being loud, setting boundaries and strengthening our own self-confidence. A safe space for girls to discover their own voice and their own strength.

Unter den Fingern – Stempeldruck mit Knetmasse
Wir erkunden die Umgebung und nehmen Oberflächen mit Knetmasse ab: Baumrinden, Mauern, Pflastersteine, Geländer. Die selbst geformten Knetstempel werden mit Stempelfarbe auf kleine, zu Leporelli gefaltete Papiere gedruckt – so entsteht Schritt für Schritt eine mini-Bildergeschichte aus dem unmittelbaren Umfeld. Wer genau hinsieht, entdeckt was die Stadt zu erzählen hat – und bringt es mit nach Hause.

Good morning Eberswalde in the park at Weidendamm, 27 June 2026 at 10:30 am
On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the 990th edition of Guten-Morgen-Eberswalde will take place as the 68th air cure in the Park am Weidendamm. The Eberswalde Laughter Yoga Group will be a guest on this day and there will also be some amusing little stories to tell. It starts at 10.30 am, of course.
"Luna's Flute" - concert by pupils from the Barnim Music School
A wonderful musical fairy tale about Luna and her flute, read and performed by pupils of the Barnim Music School on various wind instruments.
