The funding guidelines for supporting outpatient medical care aim to stabilise and further expand medical care in Eberswalde. In conjunction with measures taken by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of the State of Brandenburg (KVBB), the scheme is designed in particular to create incentives for the takeover of existing practices, the establishment of new practices or the expansion of existing ones within the city limits.

The new funding guidelines of the City of Eberswalde on outpatient medical and dental care for the years 2026 and 2027are available with immediate effect.

Working together for reliable medical care

TheKVBBis theBrandenburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians; it is a public-law body and carries out important tasks within the healthcare system in the federal state of Brandenburg.

TheBrandenburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVBB)ensures that outpatient medical care is guaranteed in the state of Brandenburg – in other words, that patients can receive medical and psychotherapeutic treatment at any time. It represents the interests of practising doctors and psychotherapists in dealings with health insurance funds, politicians and other institutions. It also organises the medical on-call service and is responsible for settling claims for medical services with the health insurance funds.

The project‘Ort sucht Arzt’highlights where there is a need for medical care and identifies practice locations that are urgently seeking successors. In this way, the KVBB actively contributes to safeguarding local medical care in rural areas. Support from the KBVV is compatible with our urban funding programme.
