Papermaking with a historical reference
A creative approach to the city's history.

On 26 and 27 August 2025, the Museum Eberswalde hosted a paper-making event in the courtyard as part of the municipal holiday programme. Over 65 children, young people and adults took part in the creative activity on both days.
The event focussed on the historical significance of paper production in and around Eberswalde. At several stations, participants were able to create, colour, design and print their own paper - a creative approach to the town's history.
They included daycare groups, holiday camps, the Brandenburgisches Viertel women's café, guests from the Martin-Gropius Hospital and numerous individual visitors.
A sequel is already being planned:
It will continue in summer 2026 - then on three consecutive days.
