Meeting the puzzles of the future with the right answers
Face the riddles of the future and find the right answers: On 17 January 2026, numerous future puzzlers embarked on a professional journey of discovery at the 29th careers market at the Oberstufenzentrum II Barnim in Eberswalde. Over 100 exhibiting companies, institutions and universities from the Barnim-Uckermark region presented a wide range of training, study and career paths.
"The future doesn't just happen! It needs committed companies, institutions and young people with courage and curiosity"emphasised mayor and patron Götz Herrmann. This is exactly where the annual careers market comes in. It makes opportunities visible and shows the potential in our region.
Whether it was an apprenticeship, internship or degree programme, many took the opportunity to talk directly to companies or even apply on the spot. The city of Eberswalde was also represented with an information stand and is currently still offering apprenticeships in gardening and landscaping as well as in municipal administration (application deadline 31 January 2026).
