Cordial invitation to the senior citizens' afternoon in the zoo restaurant

The city of Eberswalde cordially invites all senior citizens to a sociable afternoon in the zoo restaurant. The event will take place on Thursday, 21 May 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00. Admission begins at 13:30.

Guests can expect a small stage programme, coffee and cake as well as an animal parade by Eberswalde Zoo. Admission is free of charge. Access is directly via the zoo restaurant.

Call to honour senior citizens who do voluntary work

In addition, the city of Eberswalde is already drawing attention to a special event in December: On 08 December 2026, honorary senior citizens will once again be honoured. The award ceremony will take place as part of the senior citizens' afternoon in the family garden.

We are looking for retired people who are particularly committed to volunteering in associations, initiatives or in the neighbourhood.
