Integration & Welcome Centre Eberswalde
Eberswalde Welcome Centre
Advice service for people with a migration background & Welcome Centre
The town of Eberswalde offers a free advisory service for people with a migration background, regardless of their origin or residence status, who have questions or need guidance and individual support. The focus here is particularly on support with integration into the labour market (including support for women), but also on other issues such as education, family, social participation, health and housing.
Plans are in place to set up a municipal Welcome Centre, which will also aim to build a stable network to establish a structured culture of welcome in Eberswalde. This will also involve forging links with local businesses to facilitate access for international skilled workers and people with a migration background.
The “Welcome Centre Eberswalde” project is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy (MWAE) as part of the EU-funded “Welcome to Brandenburg” programme, using funds from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the State of Brandenburg.
