New opening hours of the Eberswalde Citizens' Information Centre and Passport and Registration Office
From Monday, 16 March 2026, the opening hours of the Eberswalde Citizens' Information Office and Passport and Registration Office will be adjusted.
From Monday, 16 March 2026, the opening hours of the Citizens' Information Office and the Passport and Registration Office in Eberswalde will be adjusted. While the Citizens' Office will reduce its availability by a few hours, the Citizens' Information Centre will now be available 40 hours a week and will therefore be able to provide citizens with information for longer.
From Monday, 16 March 2026, the following opening hours will apply for passport and registration services:
Monday: closed to visitors
Tuesday: 08:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m
Wednesday: closed to visitors
Thursday: 08:00 to 11:30 and 13:00 to 18:00
Friday: 08:00 am to 12:00 pm
It is recommended to book appointments online in good time to avoid waiting times.
Extended opening hours of the Citizens' Information Centre
At the same time, the Citizens' Information Centre will be open longer for citizens in future. In this way, the city administration is ensuring that general information, initial guidance and simple concerns can continue to be clarified flexibly and in a citizen-centred manner. The Citizens' Information Centre serves as the first point of contact and supports citizens with questions about responsibilities, forms and processes.
From Monday, 16 March 2026, the following opening hours will apply for Citizens' Information:
Monday: 08:00 to 16:00
Tuesday: 08:00 to 18:00
Wednesday: 08:00 to 16:00
Thursday: 08:00 to 18:00
Friday: 08:00 am to 12:00 pm
With this adjustment, the city administration is pursuing the goal of strengthening service quality and accessibility in equal measure and organising administrative processes more efficiently.
