A tree to mark the start of the school year

A special farewell for the pre-school children at the “Sputnik” nursery! Together with the team from Eberswalde’s municipal woodland, they planted a maple tree as a symbol of growth, learning and the start of a new chapter in their lives.

The tree-planting is part of the ‘forest nursery’s’ forest education programme. In this way, the children experience nature with all their senses and learn from an early age to take responsibility for their forest.
