“Between Two Thoughts” – New exhibition at the Kleine Galerie

On Friday 3 July 2026, the 323rd exhibition will open at the Kleine Galerie in the SparkassenFORUM. Entitled “Between Two Thoughts”, the exhibition will showcase works by the artist duo “Zweiklang – Marion and Willi Selmer”.

This multifaceted exhibition brings together paintings, prints, sculptures, collages, upcycled works, stencil graffiti and installations. It focuses on themes such as love, transience, humanity and society, memories, as well as nature and landscape. The artist couple inspire one another and, through this process, create new works. Their differing perspectives and the exchange of ideas are particularly important to them.

Marion Selmer explores themes such as transience, memories and moments in nature. She incorporates personal experiences and perspectives into her works. Willi Selmer focuses primarily on humanity, society and the impact of social media and artificial intelligence. For his collages and assemblages, he likes to use recycled sheet metal, whilst for his sculptures he uses wood and metal.

The town of Eberswalde is delighted that this exhibition offers an impressive insight into the diverse body of work by this artist couple, and warmly invites all art lovers to visit the exhibition.

The opening reception will take place on Friday, 3 July 2026, at 6 pm. The sculptor Eike Rothe will deliver the opening address, whilst Anne Fischer will provide musical accompaniment for the event.

The exhibition is expected to run until Friday 28 August 2026, during the SparkassenFORUM’s opening hours.
