Creative summer holidays in the museum garden: making plant labels from clay

During the summer holidays, the museum is inviting children aged 7 and over to a creative two-day workshop in the museum garden. On Wednesday 19 August and Thursday 20 August 2026, participants will learn about native medicinal plants and create their own personalised clay plant labels for the herbs in the garden.

On the first day of the workshop, the children will explore the museum garden together and shape their plant labels from clay. On the second day, the dried creations will be painted and decorated. In addition, every child will have the chance to take home their own clay souvenir.

The workshop will be led by the artist Natalie Studenik. As places are limited, please register in advance by emailingemail hidden; JavaScript is required.
