Eberswalde Tourist Information Centre receives recognition for its long-standing ‘i-Mark’ certification

Since 2006, the Eberswalde Tourist Information Centre has been synonymous with certified service quality in tourist hospitality. On 8 October 2026, as part of Brandenburg Tourism Day at the Kongresshotel Potsdam, it was honoured for 20 years of continuous certification with the i-Marke from the German Tourism Association (DTV).

The i-Mark recognises tourist information centres that meet uniform quality standards nationwide and offer their guests reliable, service-oriented support. Compliance with these standards is regularly reviewed.

Manja Schulz, Head of the Tourism Department at Eberswalde Town Council, accepted the award in Potsdam:

“A huge thank you to our colleagues, who, with dedication, expertise and a great deal of passion, ensure that visitors and locals alike feel well looked after and welcome in Eberswalde! Our successful certification over two decades reflects our ongoing commitment to being a reliable point of contact for everyone wishing to discover Eberswalde and the region.”
