Ministry visits the Eberswalde Museum

A place for encounters, cultural education and participation

On 2 July 2026, the Eberswalde Cultural Office welcomed representatives from the Brandenburg Ministry of Science, Research and Culture (MWFK) and the Brandenburg Museum Association to the Eberswalde Museum.

The visit focused on the museum’s further development as a place of encounter, cultural education and participation. Together, the guests discussed current developments and future prospects with the Cultural Office and the museum team. At the same time, the importance of the museum as a central venue for urban and regional history was emphasised.

An initial outcome of this development process will be the new special exhibition‘Adler Perspectives. Remember. Discover. Think Ahead.’which is set to open on 25 September 2026. It is made possible by funding from the State of Brandenburg and Barnim District.

The visit highlighted the development of the Eberswalde Museum and its significance within Brandenburg’s museum landscape.
