Photo exhibition "All the birds are already here" opens

On Tuesday, 30 April 2024, the photo exhibition "All the birds are already here" opened on the gallery floor of Eberswalde Town Hall. Based on the children's song of the same name with lyrics by Hoffmann von Fallersleben (1798-1874), this exhibition shows large-format photographs of native songbirds by amateur photographer Dr Rüdiger Schulz.

For around 20 years, the Eberswalde native has dedicated himself intensively to photography. The exhibited works were all created in the allotment garden site "Am Wasserturm" in the Finow district and reflect the diversity of species and colours in the region. Schulz's photographic focus includes landscape, nature and architectural photography. He has already taken part in several district photo exhibitions in the Barnim and Märkisch Oderland districts, has previously presented photo exhibitions in the town hall and Eberswalde Zoo and in recent years has been represented with motifs in the annual calendars of Sparkasse Barnim and the Neue Apotheke in Eberswalde.

The exhibition opening took place in the presence of the photographer and is expected to be open to the public until Tuesday 25 June 2024 during the opening hours of Eberswalde Town Hall.
